Board Of Directors
Boards of Directors are individuals who are appointed at the annual General Assembly by majority vote. They are elected for a term of two years renewable.
The Board is responsible for providing counsel to the Chairman and the Program Lead, as well as conduct governance over the business, affairs, and property of the Africa Leadership Initiative East Africa Foundation. The board meets minimum three times per year or whenever it is necessary, in an extra-ordinary meeting, to discuss key issues facing the organization.
Advisory Board Committee
The Africa Leadership Initiative East Africa Foundation Advisory Board Committee, (Board of Trustees) is made up Fellows, and Friends of the Foundation, from public and private sectors who champion the strategic interests of the Foundation, and safeguard its interests.
The Advisory Board Committee members are invited by the General Assembly of the Foundation.
Meet Our Staff
Our Program and Outreach Coordinator, Charlene Kamali, a Ugandan national, is passionate about making leadership in Africa work for everyone, regardless of race, gender, class, or sexual orientation. She is dedicated to supporting the foundation with the support of the board of directors.
